What are the biggest threats to keeping Colorado Springs a thriving community?

What do you perceive are the biggest threats facing the community of Colorado Springs and preventing this city from being a thriving and healthy community?

    Appathy among the citizenry; coupled with an expectation the government will take care of everything.

    It didn't work in the Soviet Union.

    It won't work here either.

    Local government corruption and infantile attitudes of the police department and city council.
